Arduino Motor Relay Project

I am creating a 360 turntable for photography purposes. We have built a turn table similar to what is seen in this video. [login to view URL] We are looking to control the turn table with a DC geared motor. We have 2 scenarios we are trying to control. Scenario one: Control turn table by spinning forward and reverse at variable speeds. Scenario two: Have the turn table spin a determined amount of degrees then stop (When the turntable stops, I would like the arduino to trigger the camera to shoot the photo) then start the cycle over until it does a fill 360 degrees. The purpose here is to take a picture every time the turntable stops so we can stitch together the photos and make a 360 degree video of our products. We use Canon SLR cameras, and I think that the arduino can control the camera by snapping a picture. I saw a video and saw other forums on how the Arduino can control the the canon SLR cameras through through the cameras port. I will need you to write the code to make the motor turn, stop, take picture until the whole process has completed.
