I need a fully commented, Visual C++ application for windows that reads in data from a given equipment (through its RS232 port AND through a network interface) AND records it in a xls (Excel) file. Data format is specified in a 76 page pdf file which is too big to upload. This file specifies the data structure and protocol and is provided by the equipment manufacturer. Details of the application must be defined later on...
