Blog design & widget development

I am hiring someone to design my blog, either in photoshop or illustrator, or whatever program you would normally use. I want to develop a new personal blog that will have 2 sections. The landing page, which will be the blog itself, and a page to track a stock portfolio and financial data. I want the background to be white, and vibrant blue or green maybe as the secondary type color. Light wavy, shiny vibrant colors. WEB 2.0!!! Also, like [login to view URL], I want the menus on the right side of the page. Please also add in the facebook, twitter, etc, links... recent tweets, an opt-in mailin list button/form, on the right with the normal menus (recent posts, categories, etc.) BE CREATIVE! I'm not sure how I want the header to look, so please address any suggestions in your response. The second page will is going to track financial data. I WANT THIS PAGE TO BE EXTREMELY INNOVATIVE IN DESIGN! It is one of the first blogs that will be tracking and displaying this kind of information. Go Yahoo! Finance, go to Google Finance, go to morningstar.com. Do research on how financial data is displayed, and use your creativity to design something unique that is easy to understand. It should display the performance of my portfolio, any stocks I'm holding, etc. It should display the daily % return on each asset, the dollar value of the assets, and a sum of the dollar value of all the assets being tracked. If you don't understand this, just go to [login to view URL] and create a sample portfolio to get a better idea. Yahoo is NOT how I want it to look, but it should give you an idea of what I'm expecting. Also, a graphical display that will show my portfolio's performance over time I've tried to explain the best I can. What I need is a Web 2.0 design for my blog that will look appealing, but NOT TOO OVERDONE! Vibrant colored menus and good use of whitespace should do it. ## Deliverables Please address any questions you have in your bid/response.
