We are looking for several highly educated individuals, ideally with advanced degrees in medical or other hard sciences or engineering, to data mine projects databases from US government agencies such as the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health and others, and discuss trends in the awarding of grants and contracts to universities and private sector companies. Some modest training is required but regular work for those who are capable. Ideally you are a very good writer in English but we will also consider those with good English skills but excellent technical knowledge in some major scientific fields who can understand a sophisticated technical literature but whose writing may need light editing. We are looking for 5,000 word monographs in technical areas with most information obtained from databases of grant opportunities from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health and other similar sources, as well as articles and web sources.
