I know I need to read 0xFFA5 from the command register first, but I only receive 0xFFFF then when I try to read the firmware version it returns 0xFFFF If I try to read other parameters such as device name, voltage, current etc... it works. I read in the datasheet that Device Type and Firmware Version are the only 2 registers that require special attention.
