Hi Freelancer, I have attached a Tekla model in the link below. As shown in the screenshots, the model is ready where the cleats (small angle profiles) are placed on the purlin (Steel box sections). Though when I generate the assembly model of the purlin to see the cleat location in generated drawings, I am unable to see the cleats along with it. I have tried making the cleats as sub-assembly with the purlin and it works (as shown in image 3). I need the fabrication drawings of each total 1464 steel purlins with the cleats as shown in image 3. Note, Its preferred if the assembly number of the purlins are kept the same to facilitate with fabrication. I would like to know what effect would having slot holes have on the U profile with the loadings described below and further information in the attached screenshot.
