I do have a problem that most find to difficult. The budget is up for debate if you can do the job. Wayland had a backend that streams screen content to another computer using MJPEG. As this is very CPU intense I want to encode the stream to H.265 using the GPU instead. This must all happen without copying any waw data to the CPU, only the compressed stream. The API for doing this is VAAPI although I think that gstreamer can do it as well.

Weston has a backed (weston/remoting) for sending a Jpeg stream to another computer using RTP. I want to use VAAPI in order to get an H.264 or H.265 stream instead. This must me zero copy otherwise it uses to much PCI bandwidth otherwise. The bottleneck with these things is bandwidth. Using VAAPI saves GPU to CPU bandwidth. Using a good video codec saves Ethernet bandwidth.

I'm looking for someone to create me a python script that is able to stream to a custom RTMP server a loop video There is currently one library for doing that but it does stream only to pre-approved services and also, it uses as codec the CPU, I want to use as codec the Nvidia Nvenc, like this: for someone to create me a python script that is able to stream to a custom RTMP server a loop video There is currently one library for doing that but it does stream only to pre-approved services and also, it uses as codec the CPU, I want to use as codec the Nvidia Nvenc, like this:

Help with my project to create a system-resulting image that will simultaneously support several variants of transcoding to H264 / HEVC (aac audio) codecs using hardware acceleration - Intel QuickSync (QSV), nVidia NVENC, AMD GPU acceleration... Payment for advice and consultation, not the final ready-made solution. Keywords: ffmpeg, nvenc, qsv, quicksync, vaapi, mss, opencl, cuda

Debug and Bugfix the issue of double video pointers beeing used by gstreamer and C++/LUA-Application - This is pretty much squarely in the application logic around struct video and in the lua application and not really GStreamer related. Now the lua video objects are completely different between rendering and decoding so the texture will never be displayed. You need to either make them the same or transfer textures from the decode to the renderer in the application. Your 'mission' is finished as soon as this is solved and we have video playback in the application! You'll get full access to required project sources (via gitlab) and should be able to compile/run the project. Target plattform is Ubuntu 18.04.x on INTEL Atom devices - but any other INTEL integrated GFX s...

Finish migration of a Digital Signage application on basis of gstreamer(-vaapi) 1.16.x (using the handoff signal in vaapisink) and info-beamer (). Until now we were using (cheap) AMD devices where we use glx-pixmaps for surface sharing between gstreamer and info-beamer which works quite perfect (no mem copy at all). Now we have to switch to INTEL devices as there are no cheap (and compatible with the former open souce driver) AMD devices and now we are expiriencing framedrop issues in surface sharing between gstreamer(-vaapi) and info-beamer on INTEL ATOM Z8300 devices (which should be a lot faster than the AMD E-350 we have been using before). As I said before we use glx-pixmaps for surface sharing which works perfect on AMD-GPUs. But now there seems to be

I have an application that renders by binding libva/vdpau surfaces onto GLX pixmaps. Playback works ok for a while, but than the application displays black frames after a few minutes of operation (always reproducible within 1-15 minutes usually). When this happens, gdb backtrace shows that the current call to vdpau_PutSurface (done from the application) never returns. See open bugs here: Hardware is: AMD APU Zacate E-350D, Dual core 1.6Ghz, AMD Radeon HD6310

...program based on openGL written in C. Platform is Linux (Ubuntu 14.04+) and hardware is exactly defined (amd cpu/gfx with vaapi support). A Video-/Image-Player is already included but without hardware-acceleration. Video/Images are displayed on openGL texture provided by the opensource application used (info-beamer see ). Video/Image decoding should be done using gstreamer-vaapi , or openFramework (which includes gstreamer-vaapi) and rendered to this OpenGL texture. All should happen in GFX-RAM - audio playback should not be affected! - Using gstreamer-vaapi (latest+gstreamer 1.4.x) plugin and modifying vaapisink element to use our texture for displaying (not to create texture

You will have to write a QML plugin using Qt4.8 in order to play videos with hardware acceleration. Video decoding will be done using gstreamer-vaapi 0.10 and rendered to OpenGL texture. The QML plugin will have standard play/stop/pause/set_uri commands and will draw the texture. This software will be deployed into an Intel Atom machine with Nvidia GT610 graphic card (low cpu usage is strictly required). Do not use XOverlay.

...is exactly defined. I need a video player in it, and I intend to make it with Gstreamer. Video will be displayed on openGL texture provided by my program. Audio will be played as simple as possible, probably with alsasink or similar with ability to choose which one to play if there are various options. There are two types of video that will be played: A) HD video - Using gstreamer-vaapi plugin and modifying vaapisink element to use our texture for displaying (not to create texture and window) B) RTP or UDP (you can choose) streams (MPEG2 TS) - Making pipeline that will be able to display streams property and start them fast enough. - If stream is HD it will be decoded in same way as A) - If video is SD, it will be needed to modify gstglsink or extend appsink to...

My program is written in java with openGL library (LWJGL). That is why I need you to make java program that will use LWJGL and on one texture to render the video. That's how I will implement that in my program - I will add video to one texture. You will need to provide me with functions to initialize all videos, get video information (like height, width and language), functions to play, pause, rewind, fast-forward, stop ... etc ... to show and choose subtitles and teletext (if possible). We will define this more precisely later on. Important thing is VAAPI. My system is too week to play HD videos with CPU, so we need to...

I'm developing a media player in Java for Linux. I need you to create c program that uses ffmpeg libs to decode video and audio streams. That program will be used as Java ...it using openGL and java. VIDEO --------- I need you to make a callback function i c that passes all data needed for openGL to display an image in java. Video must be fluid and without any bugs in playback. Also, if video is h264, it should be decoded via vaapi because my hardware supports that. AUDIO --------- audio needs to be snyc with video, it should behave like any audio in any media player. It can be played with openAL or with something else - you decide. Please bid only if you are familiar with ffmpeg, Linux, vaapi, c and java. If you have any other question, feel free to a...

We need to develop functionality for live stream HD playback in VLC. This describes our situation: ? We use VLC on ION and ION2. ? CPU Atom 330 and Atom D525 * VAAPI and VDPAU-VIDEO installed (vlc and ffmpeg compiled with support for these) * VLC (MPEG-4 TS h264 1080i50) no-ffmpeg-hw = 100% cpu, almost still picture (lots of lagging) * VLC (MPEG-4 TS h264 1080i50) with ffmpeg-hw = 90%-100% cpu, lots of lag * We have tested mplayer (MPEG-4 TS h264 1080i50) -vo vdpau = 2%-10% cpu, fine playback. ## Deliverables Since we can get mplayer to play the same sources (Multicasted MPEG4 TS 1080i50) with almost no CPU usage, it should be possible to get VLC to play with good performance as well. The reason we want to use VLC instead of mplayer is that we in general thi...
