I am looking for a circuit design for a standalone credit management system in a Mame arcade. Circuit will receive a swich input and keep count (up to 99) of the ammount in a pool. Then when another switch is pushed it will remove one unit from the credit pool and active a switch to credit the Mame system. The display is driven by Nixie tubes (NH-12A to be specific) and will be driven by K1551D1 (74141)'s so I need output to work with those components. The computer is set up with teamviewer so can be done easily remotely, I just don't have the time to set it up. I have set up gameex on it but can only get about a dozen roms to work properly. If someone has set something like this up before they will find very easy. Or any relatively experienced computer wiz should be able to work it out but that's not me. I'm building myself a custom MAME cabinet, and I want a custom front-end to use with it. I want it to have the feel that it is part of the arcade machine, and it should have no signs of windows api at all in it. (Runs full screen, hides all windows elements). It should be able to handle basic keyboard controls, including left-right, up-down, enter and escape.
