I need a small Python script that connects to a running OpenOffice instance vis PyUno and opens a file (document, spreadsheet or presentation). If OpenOffice is not running it should open it first. Why even bother to use PyUno for the simple task of opening a file? In my case It's not possible to use just the standard command line invocation as the file will detach itself from the parent process if the application is already running.
