I wrote an app in Java 8 JavaFX 2. I am using a treeview in the app. It has a bug where if you open the tree and close it again it still displays the open tree, kind of a ghost effect. To complete an unfinished program which uses the JavaFX API to create a simple graphic simulation. We are developing an application that can be run on all versions of Windows including Windows 8 without any change in the Windows Settings. The application is to interface with a device connected on a Serial COM port of the computer and exchange data and display data. It will be a 2 way communication with the device. The user should be able to view data stored in the device, configure the device and calibrate the sensors of the device.
