This project involves creating an identity management system, for my small business network, that provide the general features of Active Directory, but will be implemented on a Linux system. This identity management system will authenticate Windows and Linux computers, including interfacing with a FreeRadius server. Although Microsoft's Active Directory is an obvious solution, I prefer to use a Linux alternative. Phase one would be identifying and discussing Linux options. Phase two would be selecting a Linux option and implementing it.

Looking for an open source Hostspot expert, I need instructions advice and code to setup a captive portal server with WiFiDog and FreeRadius or Authpuppy that supports multiple locations and stores user's data and hotspot usage logs on a MySQL Database. When the users connects to the hotspot they should get a video and after a time they should be redirected to a PHP registration form for first time users or directly to a splash page if they've already registered. Sessions should be closed every 15-20 minutes so the users will be sent to the initial splash page if they want to continue in the web.
