Bug fix php javascript session [login to view URL] issue - NEED TODAY

have 3 pages of php and javascript with about 1200 lines of code involved. The code that is messed up is about 10 lines of code.
on these 10 lines it calculated subtotal*taxrate=grandtotal
it calculates [login to view URL] of the subtotal*taxrate to get the grandtotal. It works on file#1
However, in the same session this code does not work on submit and redirect to file#2
Although on file#2 it does calculate, it does not do the [login to view URL] and shows blank for $tax and $grandtotal. On file#2 it shows the $calculated_grandtotal such as 323.4555 instead of 323.46 etc.
I need someone who understands session variables and math rounding calculations to figure out what piece of code is missing from file#2. I need it within 2 days.
