This program will be used to minipulate gray scale images of varying sizes. First the must load a existing gray scale tiff file. The user must assign depth value to this image. Example 0 to 255 are the values of a gray scale image. 0 equals 0 255 equals .1" The user now views the image and selects an area to examine. ( using a mouse and draging across a small area of the image) The user then views a histagram of that section (seeing the highes and lows) and a grid or scale depicting values. 0 thru .1" this scales must have the ability to allow the user to change accuracy. Example: each line equals .0005 or .001 or .002 etc. Now, after reviewing the image the user will select a depth ( lets say .05 for example) the software must now generate a new 1 bit black and white tif image. This image will change all the gray scale pixels below or at that number .05" (which should be a 128 value) to white and all the values greater (above) to black. The above procedure must be duplicated as may times as the user wishes at any values. (.01 or .09 etc.)
