Simple web design

We require a well attractive website design targeting the mobile phone industry offering a vast range of special offers. The design should be user friendly. This should be simple, clean and attractive looking very professional. This is only a design and? NO development is required for this project. The website needs to be designed according to the specifications stated. I have a few websites in mind that have the design that I like.

**Logo

** You dont have to develop this necessarily. We? can get this separately developed. However if you do develop a good logo, you will get a good bonus! If you dont,? just keep in mind the place where logo will fit. The logo should be a banner at the top of our page (input size) Please see the attached image for further details.

**Menu**

We would like our menu? on the left hand of our [url removed, login to view] menu bar should be simple, clear, concise and easy to read. Please note the menu is a drop down menu on mobiles.co.uk. I would like a hover over menu. Although I know that hover over menus can be developed using CSS only however from experience i have seen that pure css only dropdown or hover only menus dont work properly with older versions of IE, so a bit of javascript would be handy to make it browser compatible.

**Main Page**

The page should be dissected into three parts, The Left hand side should be designed to input links with categories. This should be? similar to <[url removed, login to view]>? as shown on website.

The Center Part should be divided with image holders and information next to image holder as to display information about the product.

Below the image there should be writing clear with white text showing the word Save as to where we can input value of savings made. Please refer to image attached

On the right hand side there should be small boxes in which we can sell advertising space on the website just like on mobiles.co.uk.

**Attached is a mock up design to illustrate the sort of design we are after. Its not exactly the same however its quite similar to what we are trying to get.? The design needs to be polished to make it attractive. Also right side is missing where advertising space will go.**

**Important Info:

Overall I like the layout of <[url removed, login to view]>. I like the color combination of the website; however I would request you to come up even with a better color combination.? You can provide me with pdf mockup or an image which after my approval, you can then code it into xhtml/css.

I would also like the center boxes available that are shown on the website <[url removed, login to view]>. If you could supply me with 4/5 boxes with different gradients, however they should complement each other and also with the overall layout of the website.

I would also like the red div of the <[url removed, login to view]> that says ‘Save XY’. That div doesnt have to be red necessarily, however it has to blend in with the rest of the design. If you could add that div to the above boxes, that would be great.

I am a? software developer myself? but due to the lack of time I cannot do this and so would like to get this done as fast as possible but with complete professionalism. The images should be high quality and should NOT be stolen or copied from the above mentioned websites. I would also like a logo made that should be mobile related. I am open to ideas and am not that choosy or picky, so if its even alright I might choose and I will offer you a Bonus! Apart from the logo, I would also want another mobile related catchy picture on the front page just like [url removed, login to view] website.

The CSS should be clean and even better if commented. HTML must be commented in such a way that if I give it to a non-technical person, even they could easily insert text where they want to. Obviously this does not apply in all cases but the spirit should be maintained.

The design MUST be work on all the browsers including Safari, Firefox and different versions of IE and across different resolutions. This is extremely important to me, since the website may be accessed with different screen resolutions, so special care should be taken in case of header and footer.

Any suggestions for a? improvement? are always welcome, so please dont hesitate to communicate. Please confirm any thing you are unsure about prior to starting your work. Please ask me anything you are not sure about particularly the overall design that you are about to produce.
