We need to build a metasearcher/scraping platform that works similar to [url removed, login to view] We need a web interface that: - Scrapes/crawls roughly two dozen websites (and growing). ? Some of these sites have API or RSS feeds available, but many do not. These sites are updated many times a day with new postings/listings. - Create a means of sorting these seacrhes/feeds based on LOCATION and specific INTERESTS provided by the signed up User on our website. Yahoo Pipes is a good tool for this, but we open to any other means. - When a User signs up on our website, the User will fill out a form. ? (Either thru Recurly or Chargify or Google Forms, or our own form that you create.) ? This form isolates the User's LOCATION and specific INTERESTS, as mentioned in previous step. - For each user, our platform searches the scraped/searched feeds for matches and then creates a personalized email for that user that links to a unique page on our site that features these matches. Each and every user will have a unique page. We would like to use MailChimp to automatically email the User once or twice a day, depending on their subscription.
