The research is focused on depth evaluation using a single camera. 2D images can be used for finding the depth of a particular object in the image. Algorithm uses marker(s) to update its orientation and to compute the distance. Initially the shape of the marker is fixed and is pre defined but as the research expands improvements will make the algorithm to work autonomously using everyday objects as markers. As I send you the research paper in which markers are tags or chart pieces of red blue and green colour which are identified and their area is calculated from different distances. Area should be in terms of pixels. You have the previous code and research paper. My code will be totally different from the previous one; the one I have given you is just for understanding. What I want to do is that I have to take 10 10 images of wall clock and switch board in room on different walls from different distances up to 10 feet with one feet difference e.g. at 1 feet, 2 feet, 3 feet, 4 feet, 5 feet, 6 feet, 7 feet, 8 feet, 9 feet and 10 feet. Take 10 images of wall clock and 10 images of switch board separately. Then take the average of all. Plot it and find equation for it from the same method mentioned in research paper. Find equation for both wall clock and switch board. If area changes, value of the equation will change. Two dimensions to triangulate yourself just like in the figure given below. I have to use SURF, SIFT, KALMAN FILTER,RANSAC techniques. The first task is pre-processing, which include feature extraction of wall clock and switch board using surf or sift and also use kalman and ransac technique where required.
