I would like to create a blog focusing on different mainstream topics.
Other than the basic description of the topic, the design of the blog has to allow the administrator to easily input information and links from different sites which are then automatically organized by both popularity or number of views, and date of publishing.
The organization of the site is as follows:
1. Main Heading: Typed in by administrator, which is me.
2. Brief Description: Typed in by administrator as well as display Wikipedia introduction regarding topic (Link is added by Administrator, website has to read the link and display the intro of the Wikipedia article). Clicking on article will direct users to Wikipedia page.
3. History: Administrator adds link which displays heading of link and thumbnail of website linked. Clicking on thumbnail will direct users to the linked page.
4. Current: Same as History
5. Future: Same as History
6. Videos: Administrator add links to Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, which the website has to then extract the number of views and date of posting from the links and display them on the blog organized by Most Viewed and Date of Posting. Clicking on video will direct users to the linked page.
5. Social Media: Administrator adds accounts of Twitter and Instagram users which the website will then read and display the last three posts of that account. Clicking on post will direct users to social media account page.
6. Official News: Administrator will add links to articles of news websites which the website will read to display the topic of the article and a thumbnail of the news article website. Clicking on article will direct users to news article website page.
