This project involves a fairly simple integration of PayPal Checkout with PHP and MySQL

Project Overview:

1) User enters e-mail in HTML form

2) User’s email and unique ID is stored in MySQL DB

3) User is redirected to PayPal page to make payment

4) PayPal sends payment information back to the server

5) User returns to our website to retrieve the information that has been purchased

Details:

1) The page [url removed, login to view] will accept one variable, compid, in GET. Such as [url removed, login to view]

2) The page [url removed, login to view] will contain a form requesting the user’s e-mail address

3) Upon clicking “Submit??, 5 variables (auto-increment counter, compid, e-mail, remote host, time/date) are stored in the table PayPalCustomers. This table is for you to design.

4) The user is then seamlessly redirected to the PayPal payment page. The PayPal variables (business, item_name, currency_code, amount, etc.) should be customizable in a configuration file.

5) Upon order completion, the PayPal server sends payment data to [url removed, login to view]

6) [url removed, login to view] records compid in the ComputerID field in table COMPUTERID as well as the date/time. Compid is also recorded in another table, CUSTOMERS, together with the user’s email, remote host, and date/time. More information about these tables will be provided to selected bidder. This script also sends an email with the message “order complete?? to the user’s email.

7) Upon payment completion at PayPal, the user is sent to [url removed, login to view]

8) [url removed, login to view] checks the user’s compid against the table COMPUTERID. If the compid is in the table, it echoes “your computer id is $compid.?? If not, it echoes “try again??

The maximum bid for this project is $100, but a lower bid is likely to be chosen.
