Audit Log using Triggers

This project requires the creation of a generic table trigger which can be applied to a table in order to log Update, Insert, and Delete commands into an audit table.

I have a sample half working where the trigger boils down the update/delete/insert, but it lacks the logic to re-create the transaction. Specifically, this requires SQL commands to be created and logged in order to have the ability to replay the transactions on other servers.

I have 20 distributed MSDE-centric applications which need to replicate Inserts/Deletes/Updates on approx 14 tables to a central server.

We are using the audit method to perform the synchronization in a multi-step process.

1. log changes to local table

2. send Insert/Update/Delete queries to the central server using .net remoting over TCP

3. apply the Insert/Update/Deletes to the central SQL server

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
