Contest Brief

Looking for an industrial designer to create a new design of Knob for our High End, GAS powered BBQ. Winning entry should include the design, CAD files and 3D render.

I will attach the Gas Valve which shows the Stem dimensions for the Knob to slip over as well as some images of our previous knob. It would be good to perhaps align it with our Logo in some way shape or form.

The idea is to have some thing a little unique which is only available on the JA table, it will be produced in Anodised Aluminium, Stainless Steel and possibly also Titanium..all with variations on Anodising Techniques. It will most likely be produced using a CNC machine in batches of 500.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the competition, some really interesting designs and a lot of talent on display. In the end we've chosen Entry #2 because of it's simplicity and and originality after a ballet from my team.

  It is just the knob for now, I will attach the file for the valve system which it is attached to as well as a photo of the existing knob to give you a sense of scale.
