I believe what you are referring to is just an area for a larger pen if needed to fit either a horse or my camel. I love what you did with the double Dutch doors and the pasture!

In your sketch, there is a 30ftx20ft space at the other end of the barn stalls (beside staircase), is that a room with wall divider?
