Walking robots are becoming more widely used in human activity. Basis for achieving good quality indicators are certain basic geometric parameters. Engineering optimization was conducted in this work, of the main dimensions of the body and legs of a robot with six legs in order to ensure sustainable movement in unstructured environments and overcoming obstacles. The results, obtained from the engineering optimization, were used to make a model of the robot through 3D printing.
