User Interface Fix - Exporting CSV/Excel

In our user interface, the export functionality isn't very easy for a user to understand.
There is an option to export all of the current month, and also the option to export all data by CSV/Excel.
I want a mock-up for exporting:
a) By date range
b) By current month
c) All data
And users have the option to export by CSV/Excel
I propose that there is a new page (with breadcrumbs), or modal dialog popup (preferred) that is designed that makes it easy to export the data that's obvious for the end user.
