Elaborate Description:
Here's a more elaborate description of my requirement for discussion
There's a software called LINGO for linear programming. You input a lot of variables there and decide your objective on 1 variable -i.e. maximize profit or decrease costs-. The software will try multiple alterations changing all other variables to get you to your objective. Constraints can be put also. Anyhow, LINGO code is ready, and all variable have unique code names -these details will be provided along with instruction on how to install LINGO after the bid award-.
What's required in this project is to automate that software as to ease inputs and outputs and not having to change the LINGO code manually every time. The user would input certain field in the new VB tool and these would automatically change in the code of LINGO as per each variable value inputted. The tool then would use LINGO to run the analysis and then extracts the results from it. The results would be the new values of all variables as per LINGO solution including the value of the objective of course.
Some simple linear charts are then required to represent the results.
