1. Case Study
Please use mtcars dataset which comes with Base R. By looking at a data set of a collection of cars, we are interested in exploring the relationship between a set of variables and miles per gallon (MPG) as outcome. We are particularly interested to explore:
• “Is an automatic or manual transmission better for MPG”
• “Quantify the MPG difference between automatic and manual transmissions”
Write an R code for all of your analysis steps:
1. Loading data set
2. Exploratory Data Analysis
3. Model fitting & Hypothesis Testing
4. Regression Diagnostics
Running R code with detailed comments with proper reasoning of why a step is required is expected.

mpg Miles/(US) gallon
cyl Number of cylinders
disp Displacement (cu.in.)
hp Gross horsepower
drat Rear axle ratio
wt Weight (lb/1000)
qsec 1/4 mile time
vs V/S
am Transmission (0 = automatic, 1 = manual)
