Web App for Long-term Rental Marketplace

Our project is called RentDirect and we are seeking a developer to build a responsive web app similar to www.housinganywhere.com.
Deliverable:
- Fully functional web app ready to be deployed live
RentDirect will be an online marketplace connecting people looking to rent a room or apartment directly with landlords seeking tenants. The concept is similar to Airbnb, but for longer-term rentals (weekly, monthly, yearly).
RentDirect advantages:
- Focused on longer-term rentals
- Listings are direct from property owners (no real estate agents or brokers)
- More flexibility for both parties due to direct renter-landlord relationship
- Use of the platform is 100% free (a one-time fee is paid once a property is rented)
- All listings go through a verification process to ensure accuracy
- Customer funds are securely held in escrow until 48 hours after the renter arrives at the property
Important notes:
- When a Landlord is creating a new listing it should not automatically be posted live. The ‘create a new listing’ process must include a drag and drop file uploader for the landlord to upload multiple JPEG/PNG/PDF files. RentDirect will review the files uploaded to verify that the landlord owns the property they are submitting a listing for. After review of the uploaded documents, RentDirect will accept or deny the listing, or request more information from the landlord.

- Be mindful when choosing code stack / framework as we plan to introduce a IOS and Android mobile app sometime in the future.
