Start up website, looking for PHP, front end, Chatroulette like concept but different theme

Looking for a front end developer to work on a project. I've designed the pages and have the functionality mapped out but now I need to work with someone who has ideally both front and back end experience so we can build out a MVP. The main language I would assume to achieve this would be PHP but I'm not sure. I've spoken to some people and they said PHP or Java script would probably be needed but I'm open to others. Right now I just have the site up on a bluehost shared hosting plan with wordpress, but can upgrade or migrate if needed.
This is a side project I would imagine we work on around 5 to 20 hours a week. I'm usually online after work so I'm available to stay on skype and can answer any questions or help out in anyway. I can do graphic design, content writing, etc... and have a lot of experience with wordpress. If the project ends up coming out great, and we can build traffic. I'm going to try to shop the MVP around to some angels to secure some seed funding which means they'll definitely be more work to come.
