Create a referral program for QuickBooks Online

I am trying to create a program(Kind of like a referral program) where I assign a person like a sales rep to a client, and at the end of the year all that the client has spent is calculated under that sales rep, and the rep gets a percentage of that amount. We do work with Online quickbooks, so we need something that works with that.
Example: If Mary is an existing client of ours, and she refers a friend of hers (John) Every time we work for John, Mary will get 1% of the total amount he spent. We want to know how much we would need to give to Mary as a referral gift at the end of the year.
