I have a checkout on my site currently but it does not work like I want it to. It requires that you have or open a Paypal account in order to complete the checkout process. Also, visitors are frequently encountering technical problems when checking out. I suspect there may be an error/bug in the existing code.
I would like the existing code deleted and start from scratch with a new checkout. I have a Paypal merchant account now that to my understanding will enable visitors to enter in their credit card information on my site without having a Paypal account. I also have a [url removed, login to view] SSL certificate which I need integrated into the shopping cart via https://. I want it setup so that customers need only enter the minimum information necessary to complete their transaction while still giving them the option to open an account on my site if they want. I want a checkout that is as professional as it possibly can be. Something like the big websites have.
I would like to give visitors the option of either using a Paypal checkout or entering their credit card on my site.
What I am looking for in a programmer:
-someone who will keep in good communication
-programmer with respectable GAF feedback
-a programmer that already has experience with the work requested
-programmer who can accomplish task in a timely fashion
-programmer who can offer good suggestions on what else I can do to improve my site
