Public Database

Need someone experienced in building a scalable database driven directories. I am in the process of creating a directory of U.S. patent data and government data which will be organized by company, people and industry (SIC Code) I am thinking to use opensource, wiki or some similar platform to present the data to the end user. Users can claim profiles and add new data to existing profile or add his/her company to the database which will be reviewed by an admin. I also want to show relationships of people and companies so for example, John Doe is associated with 12 companies and present the relationship in a simple visualizer to show the connections. The visualizer can be flashed based and very simple. Also need SEO friendly structure, add new company, claim a profile, and clean navigation i.e. A | B | C | D etc Most of the data is public so we will need to scrape it or download it from the government website. Please show me samples of your work and tell me your proposed solution.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
