Startup company needs a programmer with real PHP/MySQL experience to program a website with multiple databases, login interfaces for different types of users including a user-friendly back-end, integration with Google Checkouts, and some simple file management.
We have some knowledge of PHP and MySQL and have already designed the system's concept and desired functionality in detail. What we are looking for is a highly experienced programmer to code the system and user interfaces, and pick up on any other issues we may not have considered, particularly with respect to security.
We will also need a fairly simple website made to web standards and tested for all browsers, based on mock-ups we provide. We will provide any necessary images or graphic work. Design for the site is to be as simple as possible, with no flash/shockwave.
The project will be rolled out in phases, with the first simple site needed by mid-April, and the final product complete by mid-May. On-site work is not required, but programmers local to the NYC area are preferred, as we would like to meet in person. We will expect to work closely and have frequent communication with the programmer. We plan to maintain the site ourselves, and will need the finished code explained to us.
Final project involves at least three different secure login interfaces, 10-15 site pages, a MySQL database with at least four tables, and programming for user input to and convenient reading from the database. We will also need integration with Google Checkouts, who will process our credit card transactions. It will also require some simple file management allowing user uploads but little else. Our host has phpMyAdmin and we have already begun to set up the database tables.
