Statement of works

Overview

This Software solution should facilitate my company to create quotations for my customers

online using Web interface, via standard Web browser. To create, modify and delete customers

details like name, address, phone numbers, email etc. To create, modify and delete products

details like product code, product descriptions, unit etc. I should be in a position to select

customers from a screen using drop down box, product items and to enter required quantity in

that screen. I should be able to enter items rate on my own and based on quantity, the total

rate for each item should be calculated. At the end of the quotation, the total rate should be

summed up and, I should be able to enter tax rate and other handling charges. Also, I should be

able to include some Terms and conditions at the end of my quotation generated for a client.

Front end operations

My company staffs, should be able to login to access different menu options.

All front end screens should be dynamic Web pages using scripts to show as simple HTML,

which can be seen in any browser.

The menu should be for client management like, create new client, modify existing clients and

delete clients. Each operation should be using simple Web forms and with confirmation

message box having yes/no or ok/cancel buttons.

Similarly for managing products information separate forms with same way of operations as

mentioned above.

And, for managing quotations generated like edit, delete and create a quotation using simple

forms, with confirmation messages for critical operations, before saving or deleting.

Background setup

The code developed should be in PHP scripts and database should be mySQL.

A colour scheme should be developed using CSS for easy modification as per our company logo

colour.

The source will be hosted on Linux server with Apache Web server, in future in our company

server.

Price quotes

Quote your price for one time creation of required software solutions based on above

description. Consider all script works, data tables and forms in the front end interface while

arriving at your cost.

Quote your price for hosting and maintenance for a year, if I prefer in your own domain.

Quote your price for entire source code, with tables of data as a contract, to host in our

company domain and maintenance for a year.

Whether any modifications to front end screen or additional requirements of some more forms,

will it be charged ‐ please mention in your Price quote.

Please mention validity of your price quote and how quickly this software solution can be

implemented lively. That is, from which date I can go live for this solutions.
