Photoshop picture correction/touchup

I do historic military caisson funeral services in Florida. From the original picture I tried to edit out the street signs, wires and automobiles, etc... The intent is to make the background look old without modern technology. Having the street in the picture is fine.
I attempted to correct and messed up a little on the back wheels and behind wagon background. If you can correct and brighten up some that would be great!
