I'm in need of a PostgreSQL script that will loop through my table and update certain columns of the rows that meet a specific static condition.
The main functionalities of this script include:
- Iterating through all the rows of a given table.
- Checking each row to see if it meets a certain static condition.
- If the condition is met, updating certain columns within that row.
This script should be designed to handle the following requirements:
- The script will be used to filter and update specific rows based on a static condition. This condition will remain unchanged.
- The script needs to efficiently loop through the entire table and update only the rows that meet the specified condition.
