I am looking for a freelancer who can conduct comprehensive research on passenger car tax and duty regulations in 10-12 Central and Eastern European countries - then expanding globally (eventually, to 50 CE, SA and Asian countries).
The main objective of this project is to identify the specific regulations and requirements related to car import taxes, sales taxes (eg: VAT) and duties payable in different markets.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to conduct global research, as fifty or more countries may be included now and in the future (updates).
The deliverable for this project is a detailed report that provides a comprehensive overview of the car tax and duty regulations in each country specified.
The report should include information on the different taxes and duties applicable to various types of vehicle (passenger vs commercial), as well as any tax or duty exemptions or incentives that may be available.
To successfully complete this project, the freelancer should have:
- Knowledge of Car Tax and Duty regulations that can be used internationally
- Strong research skills, accuracy to detail, ability to find reliable data sources
- Experience in conducting market research and analysis reports
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written (Excel) and verbal (Teams)
This is potentially a long term project with an ongoing requirement to update the taxes, duties and retail prices for the target national markets.
