Find "Dead" Apps in iTunes Library
$250-750 USD
Paid on delivery
Each day that elapses since the introduction of the iTunes App Store sees more and more apps abandoned by their developers for one of many different reasons: company sold or shut down, products discontinued, etc. As a last act, these developers usually (although not always) remove the app from the App Store catalog.
This project will result in the delivery of a script or application (Windows or Mac -- Windows preferred) that will go through the contents of a user's app library in iTunes and determine whether each app is still available in the App Store. If not, the user will be alerted that the app has been removed via the display of a list of all "dead" apps in the user's library.
