INTRODUCTION - HUGE PROJECT
This is a project for a team of dedicated and talented developers. This is no project for a "one man" show. You will probably recognize me as I am one of the top freelance employers on this site with about 75 projects and a perfect 5 star rating because I pay as promised and I always bonus good work but most of the jobs lately have been smaller jobs for myself, family and kids.
A few years ago we had a huge website created and the developers were slow and never really made the site the way we wanted. We wasted $25,000 and years on the development but today better technology is a fraction of the costs as there is already off the shelf modules similar enough that they can be customized and blended into our model which I will further explain in a moment.
BACKGROUND - THE PROBLEM
You may have seen several companies jump up that were a; mlm meets eBay model. These companies jumped up after seeing our model, as we are the originators who first floated the whole idea back in the late 90's.
The problem we had is selecting a programming firm who took about $18,000 from us and delivered a .net technology site that was rife with errors, problems and never responded adequately. The second firm re-programmed in .net as well but again it didn't respond as it should have. So here is what we are needing...
THE PROJECT
Think of this site as an Amazon, eBay with a direct sales similar in nature to an MLM system of commissions and support. From all our discussions with some new companies they have code for these that can be retooled for our model. We will also want to incorporate future features; such as a real estate online site where users can list, sell, browse, etc. and make commissions through each level. Another future module may include a freelance type module and there are two ultimate goals: 1. Include brick & mortar stores that can participate in the program. 2. Align with companies offering savings accounts where a persons earnings can route into long term savings.
Imagine going grocery or gas shopping and earning commission for doing so. Therefore, as you can see... this site needs to be pretty dynamic.
PROCESS
Since we have been through so many challenges and even ripped off by developers we will be careful in our selection. You will need to be able to present your ability and your team, we will not prepay you any funds ahead of demonstrated work. We want to fund 3 manageable milestones. After developers show a significant model we will release the funds to you. 2nd milestone will be released at midpoint and final milestone released after deployment. We will have a lot to discuss with you about design, function, post-work, site monitoring and its costs. So this will be a long-term relationship and you will need someone to avail themselves to continuing discussions and planning.
