I'm looking for a talented and empathetic web designer to redesign our nonprofit's website. Our organization focuses on helping young adults suffering from mental illness and trauma, with a special emphasis on raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl.
Key features and goals:
- Implement a blog section: I envision this as a platform for sharing personal stories, highlighting the impact of fentanyl from the view point of a parent, trying provide information regarding fentanyl awareness and general mental health support.
- Develop a Resources page: This should include a comprehensive and updated list of US and State resources for individuals struggling with fentanyl addiction, mental health issues, and trauma.
- Make my daughter human: While the redesign is for the website, I want someone who can inject a sense of humanity into the design. My daughter is a real person with struggles, not just a statistic or another victim.
Target audience:
- Young adults: The website should be engaging and accessible to this demographic. It should be designed in a way that resonates with their experiences and challenges.
- Parents and caregivers: Given the nature of the issues we handle, it's important that the website is also user-friendly for this group. They should find it easy to navigate and locate the information they need.
