Design Ideas, Logo, Banner for new quirky ecommerce Site ([login to view URL])

We are starting an ecommerce t-shirt store focusing on quirky, nerdy, fandom types of themes. We have a fun domain name to go with it ([login to view URL]) which we feel embodies the spirit of what we want for a feel. Our focus will be on US and Canadian audiences.
The store will be on Shopify, with a Facebook, Instagram and (minor) Twitter presence, so we need logo and banner elements for those as well as for printed materials (ie, business cards).
We'd love to find a designer with an appreciation for these types of themes and internet memes (ie, you love to share quirky things with friends and love nerdy things) as we feel that love will come through in the design.
While we have a couple ideas in our heads as to what a logo/banner/etc might look like, we fully admit that our design concept skills are limited. Thus, we're open to your ideas as to style and feel of logo that would integrate into our Shopify site as we share ours.
We hope to establish ongoing relationship with our designer as well, as we expand and add to our online presence.
