What we are interested in
We need information about the advertising messages that pop up on the selected sites for the analysis of various advertising campaigns
We are interested in only pop-up / pop-under ads
Advertising messages may differ depending on several parameters:
- country
- device
- operating system
- cellular operator
What should be done
Thus each site must be visited via:
- a computer running Windows and/or Mac OS
- smartphones running iOS and/or Android operating system using a cellular operator
- smartphone operating system iOS and/or Android using wi-fi
1. Get a pop-up / pop-under advertising message
2. Take a screenshot of the advertising message (If the advertisement contains the link to the store Apple or Google, then open it to see the app)
4. Save the advertising link as a text
5. Write this information to the form on the site
6. Clear your browser cookies and re-visit the same sites to see pop-up advertising again and take a new screenshot
You must visit each site at least 10 times via each device. Clear your browser cookies before each site visit. In case of using a smartphone you need to go to each site 10 times via a mobile operator and 10 times via wi-fi
What you should pay attention to
Sometimes an advertising message is not on the final page. For example, smartphone applications ads often use prelanding pages. You need to move to the final page in such cases
Why do we need this
We examine the types of advertising used in a variety of formats. There are banner ads and pop-up messages. We would like to know how different their content is on similar sites in different countries.
Currently, there are 17 webistes which is needed to check.
Final price of your work= amount of tasks* number of devices* fix price (2$)
For example,
1. If you had one website checking task which you made with Windows – Desktop and Mobile – Android – Wi-Fi, you will earn 1 * 2 * 2 = 4 $
2. If you had 10 website checking tasks which you made with Windows – Desktop, Mobile – Android – Wi-Fi and Mobile – Android – 3G, you will earn 10 * 3 * 2 = 60 $
