Build me a excel report format file using vba, macro

I am a surveyor and I need to make inspection reports which consumes most of my time. I do have the report format in word but I need to build an excel report with formulas, macros and vba's to finish my work in very short time. I do not know why you need to convert to excel but in my opinion, you have to use vba in MS excel to complete data and vba to generate MS Doc for approve or storage. I can help you to do this task.
