Healthcare Articles and FAQs - seeking creative & enthusiastic researcher, writer, and content developer

Seeking a writer & content developer who meets the following criteria:

1. Experience with in-depth research about medical topics

2. Explain medical subjects in a knowledgeable but friendly manner (as if from a trusted friend)

3. Accuracy of information and citations (where appropriate) are critical

4. Content should be optimized for SEO

5. Experience finding and developing visuals to enhance written content

6. Must be native English writer

Project Summary Description:

Create very comprehensive and engaging patient FAQs for medical procedure categories (e.g. X-Ray). Our objective is to educate & inform patients who are in need of these procedures, and are seeking the single best source to learn about the procedures.

The project will be to:

1. Create the questions (ideas will be provided)

2. Research and create the content for the answers

3. Provide answer layout design (this can be sketch, PPT, DOC, etc. – does not have to be a design file)

To apply, the following MUST be included:

1. At least 2 samples of work that demonstrate the requirements above

2. Description of how you optimize content for search

3. Your last sentence should start with the words next year

4. Please tell us why you like writing about medical / healthcare topics

5. Bid on only one medical procedure/topic, and include the number of “FAQ questions” included in your bid (e.g. For an FAQ on a medical procedure like X-Ray, I would come up with X-Y questions and research & create the answers to each question for $Z.

6. The number of days on your bid should be equal to the days required to deliver 1 complete medical procedure FAQ.

There are at least 18 projects like this we will be contracting out. The best value performers will be offered the remaining projects and more in depth articles and blog post – on an on-going basis, likely 5-10 a month.
