Help me build a community mathematics/brainstorming app

I am looking for a freelancer to help me build and develop an app which I have been planning with my brother for quite some time. The app will be a platform for students to log in and present their maths problems for the app community (other users) to help solve, as well as presenting their unique and ground-breaking ideas for others to discuss and brainstorm together. I like to think of it as a "think tank for the problem solvers of tomorrow".
You will be required to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) if you are the successful freelancer, and I anticipate this project to last around 3 months.
In order to find the best freelancer who is suitable for this job, I have attached a simple mathematics problem for you to solve of which you will need to think a little outside of the box to solve. Freelancers who bid and send me their answer will be shortlisted and increase their chance of being the winning bidder! I am happy to hire new freelancers, provided that they can show me their skills first.
