It is a multi-purpose app to be used by ourself and by our customers. We provide services around Manufacturing Analytics, where a wide spectrum of sensors are used to capture data on customer's factories.
This app allows users to manage and browse these sensors, view history data and real-time data. Configure alerts according to rules on captured data. It could work as stand-alone app or connected to cloud, according to the agreement with each customer. Some of these features are still in the development stage.
The software stack we are using :
Front-end: Ionic v5, Capacitor v2, Tailwind
Back-end: Nodejs, Express, MongoDB
The first task we'd like you to take is to work on history and real-time pages, currently we are displaying data on the original measurement 'unit', we want users to be able to pick the unit from a dropdown list. This list will be filled according to the associated 'magnitude' of the sensors. For example, we could have a pressure sensor, the associated magnitud is 'Pressure', the available units will be: Bar, PSI, KPa. For a digital sensor we could have it related to magnitud 'Cadence' , the available units will be: Units/Min, Units/Hour. Both 'Magnitude' and 'Units' will be defined on the source code, not on DB, but we have the magnitude and origin unit from each sensor stored on DB. You will have to update the current pages to allow users to pick the unit and update data/chart doing the proper conversion
