To build a database for my optician's practice, that works on Macs and will function well and look great.
This will be a fairly straightforward contact management database, as well as creating records for contact lens patients and related fields and link in with iCal for appointments. The project needs to be expandable to link into my stock control and POS system. Or replace it. I would like the freelancer to come to my practice to observe my current methodology to fully understand my requirements and to make suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of.
I am looking for someone who can work closely with me on this project who can demonstrate that they have built successful databases before and can communicate with me perfectly in person (I'm based in London's Primrose Hill).
There is no optical practice management software available in the UK for Macs - who knows, maybe this is the start of something more commercial!
