Childrens book illustrations (10-11 illustrations, full colour spread)

I am trying to research the average cost of having 10-11 illustrations created for a children's book. The images are mostly of a series of staircases, set in different environmental settings, that reach up to the sky. I was asked to illustrate the drawings myself, for my mother-in-law, however I don't really have the time or ability to draw the desired images, and was hoping to find someone that can do them instead.
