I am an author in need of a website to promote/sell e-books. I’ve used [login to view URL] to create a site, but I feel that it needs to be polished by an experienced designer. I’ve already purchased a domain name, and I have a logo. I also have photographs, images, and other design elements to populate the site.
In its current state, the website has four pages/tabs:
1) Homepage
2) Novels
3) Short Stories
4) About Me
Aside from additional design elements, the website needs:
1) A pay to download widget/application that allows users to select an e-book format (.mobi, .epub, .pdf), submit credit card/paypal information, and process payment before the system allows the e-book to download to their personal device (desktop, mobile phone, tablet, etc.).
2) Data Collection Widget – if someone chooses to download one of my e-books, they should be required to submit basic demographic information (4 Questions: age, gender, race, location)
Ideally, I would like the project completed by the end of January 2016. However, I am flexible depending on what’s needed for site design. Also, I want to emphasize that I’m interested in a long-standing partnership with a designer who can provide expertise on the elements listed above as well as bandwidth needs and ways to add advertising to the website.
