I have a company which has developed the software and lens to display advertisement/video clips in a mix of 2d and 3d. In 3d the image appears to project out of the screen (like iMax) based on the rendering of the ads and their display through our proprietary player software. The images can be viewed with remarkable clarity without the need for special glasses. I am targeting the application at a variety of segments; gaming; eg the linked screens on top of poker machines, the screens at the end of a poker machine row. In Retail I see an application to replace existing digital screens with an eye catching 3D video clips, essentially point of sale advertising; Real estate I see 3D adding wow value and making the initial appeal of a property more intuitive and immediate. 3D provides a new and novel way of attracting the attention of a jaded audience, and that means more effective brand promotion and more sales.
In hotels and coffee shops I can forsee our screens replacing boring displays that have long lost their eye catching appeal. In pharmacies and in clubs these screens will promote and encourage patrons to stay and to engage. It is possible that the technology may be sufficiently novel to catch the eye of a major TV /screen manufacturer, but the main game is point of sale enhancement.
The company name presently incorporates the words Naked Eye 3D but that does not make the name stand out from what is already a crowded competitive segment.
