Create a comic strip for my product

I need to create a manual to explain the features of a software product and would like to create a comic strip book for that.
You would design the characters, manga style and create a comic book to describe what the software can do. We would work in iterations, this initial project is to get a feeling of our work together and does not have to be perfect, but it will be the beginning of a journey where we continue to work together in future projects to improve and extend this version. I am interested in your drawing as well as storytelling skills that I would like to see in the initial version.
The comic strip features two characters:
- The security officer, you can draw it more or less like a policeman or a security guard
- The user, you can draw it as an office person. The user can be female and we can call her Anna.
There are some elements used throughout the story:
- The employee ID card, like those you carry to enter the office building
- A card printer that prints photo in your card
- A card reader near the door to enter the office
- A card reader connected to your computer (more or less like a mouse) to use the card to access your computer
- A tablet computer, like an iPad, where you enter the card number to access a site.
The story is in the attached Word document. The objective is to create a comic book of maybe between four and eight pages, but I let you propose the layout and design that you believe would be more appropriate, it can even be a single continuous strip that can be rolled from top to bottom or left to right.
HOW TO BID:
As I said, it would not have to be perfect with the nicest details and shadows and special effects at this point. But I want to get a feeling of your illustration abilities (so maybe you will make only a few boxes very nice to show me how a nice box would look like) and the rest would be just a draft so we can improve it in the next version.
In order to bid, I would like you to send me a proposal for the characters and one sample box of the story, so I can see if we are communicating well.
