24 Hour Project Time Line!!

I am taking an Adobe Illustrator class. It is a beginners class so this project does not have to be "incredible" and actually i cant have it be too amazing. The instructor wont think it was me if it has too many rare Illustrator tools. The file must be 8x11 and the instructions are below.

You can re-create something already on the market like Cheerios or make a new cereal. If you redo a cereal already on the market like Trix, Cheerios etc then it cant be identical to existing box cover.

MUST be an Adobe Illustrator ai file and it must have everything in layers. Again i am a student in my 3rd month of class. I had some personal emergencies come up and do not have time for this assignment. I want it to be nice but it does not have to be super amazing.

Assignment:

• Create a new Illustrator document, 8" by 11"

• Name the document [url removed, login to view]

• Design a cereal box cover. See attached examples

•example: a Cheerios box cover

•example two: any cereal

•Make sure everything fits in the artboard, either re-size images or use a clipping mask

•Visit [url removed, login to view] or other web sites like google for images

• Document your work with a Word file

•Include the following elements: ◦At least two images (embedded)

◦Appropriate text for cereal type

◦Apply a gradient(s)

◦Blend at least one object

◦Complimentary colors

•Be Creative!

•Save with changes and remember to include the Word document with your upload

•Compress (zip) both files. Name your zipped folder [url removed, login to view] and Upload

Evaluation:

•10 pts. for creativity

•10 pts. for appropriate type

•10 pts. for appropriate images

•5 pts. gradient

•5 pts. for blended object

•5 pts. for Word documentation

•0 points for a non-zipped file or non Illustrator file

•45 total points available
